Picking the Right Pot
Choosing the right pot for your flower arrangements, plants, or trees is just as important as choosing the right picture frame for your artwork. Based on the styles and types of greenery you use, one pot may work well for your plant while another one does not compliment it at all. One example is the bonsai plant: look for a pot with warm, rich colors and an Eastern style. On the other hand, with a bamboo plant the pot should have a more modern design or perhaps use a wicker material. Before you come to a decision, look at several different styles, colors, and materials to make sure you get the best fit. The size of the pot is an area where taste can overrule practicality. A gigantic pot often steals the showâ”which may be exactly what you wantâ”while smaller pots give all the limelight to the greenery.
