A new airline has been launched by the Mexicana Group, called Mexicana Link. Flights will take off from Monterrey and Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta, with four daily flights to each destination. The launch was scheduled for 16th March and the beginning of April. There is a lot of hype about this project, as it is expected to generate 500 more direct jobs and 1000 indirect jobs. There are high expectations from Mexicana Link as it is expected to generate revenue of $900,000,000 in the first year only.
Vallarta Botanical Gardens hosted their very first Chocolate, Coffee and Vanilla Festival from 10th March to 16th March. This festival was hosted in order to celebrate decades of success. Chocolate and coffee trees along with a variety of vanilla orchids were displayed. This educational and inspiring demonstration along with gay and friendly company also included a restaurant that offered a menu devoted to vanilla, chocolate and coffee. An entrance fee of only $50 pesos was affordable for visitors. This festival also held a Food and Nectar of the Gods day on March 14th. This festival hosted by Charlotte and Carole of Xocodiva Artisan Chocolates and Nina Goodhope of Bodega de Nina Fine Wines was pleasantly informative about the pairing of wine and chocolate together. The Cathy Von Roh Studio Art Gallery at Manuel M Dieguez 321 is hosting the inauguration of the Tejedoras de Vuelos from March 18th till 1stApril. The Studio will be open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This exhibition will showcase a unique compilation of paintings and sculptures featuring the works of Maria Crsitina Mercada and Jimena Odetti, painters from Argentine and a sculptor from Vallarta, Daria Gonz’lez Torres.
